Creative play and exercise are two crucial components contributing to the overall health and development of children. Kids need opportunities to play and move, therefore, we schedule our campers to “playground” time as often as possible.

Rolling River has built three of the most innovative playgrounds you will ever see…all with the inspiration of our nautical theme. From smokestacks to portholes;from a variety of slides to a ship’s crow’s nest, campers will find numerous areas to explore, climb, run and play. In addition, kids are encouraged to use their imaginations as they navigate throughout these interactive and uniquely connected structures.

All of our playgrounds have been originally designed by Rolling River’s Director, Mark Goodman, along with an innovative playground company. Before developing these areas, Mark attended multiple workshops on playground construction and design. Utilizing these National standards for safety, we have designed a variety of creative play environments that are sure to stimulate campers of all ages.

Our camp standards for safety have been set very high. For this reason, ALL staff members must complete a comprehensive orientation run by Mark himself, regarding safe play and proper supervision.
