Division News: Summer 2018 Week 5
Skipper Scoop
It’s hard to believe the first four weeks of camp have come to an end. We are very proud of our Skippers for trying so many new activities! On Tuesday, we welcomed families of our Pre-K boys for our final Visiting Days of the summer. On Wednesday, we waved goodbye to our Half Season 1 friends. We can’t wait to “sea” you all again next summer! Thursday welcomed our Half Season 2 campers as we explored the playgrounds, played with our animal friends at Nature, jumped in the pool, and visited specialties like Arts & Crafts and Puppetry. Ask us about the activities that we did this week:- Arts & Crafts: Nursery campers made their own homemade play-dough, Pre-K and K campers created silly wacky tacky aliens for Wacky Tacky Day.
- Nature: We learned about marine life and created their own jellyfish by tracing their hands.
- Athletics: We practiced our dribbling and slam dunks on the basketball court and on Skipper Field.
- Cooking: We had fun ripping up the tortillas to make yummy chips and salsa.
- Tumbling Tides: We practiced our jumps, turns, and handstands.
