Crew Members develop valuable life skills while serving as positive role models for our campers, all within a supportive and rewarding environment built on meaningful connections and lasting memories.

Crew Expectations

Rolling River is proud of its strong year-to-year return rate among hundreds of Crew Members—a reflection of the supportive, engaging, and meaningful experience we provide. Clear expectations—Be Here, Be Present, and Be Respectful—guide our Crew in fostering a positive, professional camp culture. Crew positions are open to applicants entering 11th grade or older, with roles available as Group Counselors, Program Specialists, Operations Staff, and Waterfront Staff.

Staff members are expected to commit to the full camp season and work full days to ensure consistency and care for our campers. The 2026 camp season runs from Monday, June 29 to Thursday, August 20. The camp day operates from 8:20am to 4:15pm.

Application Process

All Crew Members undergo a comprehensive screening and hiring process to ensure they meet the high standards of our camp program. First-time applicants are required to submit a staff application and complete both a virtual screening interview and an in-person hiring appointment, while returning Crew Members complete a self-evaluation and meet with our Directors prior to contract renewal.

Summer camp salaries are seasonal and vary based on age, responsibilities and placement. Compensation details are reviewed during the interview process to ensure a confident decision prior to acceptance. Complete our Staff Inquiry Form or Staff Application to begin your journey as a Crew Member.
