Dive Right In: July 20-July 24
Ahoy, mateys!
We welcomed Nursery, Kindergarten, and some Mariner families back to camp for special Visiting Night events this week. We love to show you all the new skills we are learning with our friends and counselors.
Campers also bounced, jumped, and played all over camp this week, and we all had a blast cooling off in the pool. Mariners took over Bounce! Trampoline, the pickleball courts, and gymnastics floor while some Navigators and CITs visited the Great White Way for a viewing of Harry Potter on Broadway, Navigators girls caught fish in Freeport & rolled around at United Skates, while Navigator boys explored NY Aquarium in Coney Island, and CITs showed their love for the Amazin’ Mets with a tour of Citi Field.
Today we end our last day of Half Season 1 with the BEST special event of the summer: CARNIVAL! From water rides to our favorite bounce houses and the Friendship Booth, we celebrated our Camp Love and enjoyed a delicious donut snack AND a visit from Andy’s Italian Ices, too!

Monday, July 27 – First Day of Half Season 2
MARINER VISITING NIGHT
Families of our 1st graders and 2nd grade girls are invited to camp for a fun-filled evening of camp activities from 6:00 – 8:00 pm!
Groups include B1, B2, B3, B4, G1, G2, G3, G4, G5, G6, G7. Wear sneakers so that you can participate in the fun! Campers will go home as usual and will return with their families. After all activities are complete, families are invited to participate in an ice-cream party to end the night.

Friday, July 31 – 80s Day!
Next Friday is 80s Day at camp, and we invite all campers to arrive dressed in their favorite retro outfits! The entire camp will celebrate with an epic NEON paint party. Our Skippers and 1st & 2nd graders will also enjoy a special Star Search talent show with Magic Al, while our older Mariners and Navigators step back in time at our recreated camp MTV Studios for music and fun with Powerhouse Entertainment.
