Skipper Scoop

What an incredible summer start for our Skippers! From splashing in the pool to swinging around at our playgrounds to creating patriotic picture frames at Arts & Crafts, Skippers are trying new activities and making new friends. We loved meeting Uncle Sam and Lady Liberty during Red, White, and Blue Day, too. We can’t wait to learn our group songs and show our camp spirit during Song & Plaque Day!

Congrats to the following campers for answering Uncle Sam’s trivia questions correctly:
Ryan B. -N7
Travis L. -N9
Keira W. -N10
Sydney -N5

Have a great weekend and enjoy celebrating Independence Day next Wednesday!

Mariner Messages

Mariners kicked off camp with smiles this week, greeting returning friends and meeting new ones, too. Campers got to test out their American History knowledge when Uncle Sam & Lady Liberty paid a visit today as well!

We are ready for a fantastic summer of adventures, sports, and new activities. The Mariners are really looking forward to exploring new interests and developing new skills. Next week, third graders head to the Hall of Science on their first trip of the season and all the Mariners are in for a treat during next Friday’s Pizza Show. Thank you to all our parents and counselors – with your support, campers have easily transitioned into a wonderful new summer by the RIVA!

Navigator Notes

We’re very excited for camp, making new friends and going on trips! Yesterday, we went to Dave & Buster’s and it was also my birthday. We had sooo much fun playing games and winning prizes with our new friends! I had the best time getting on the leader board on Pac-Man. There were so many fun games for all of us to play. We can’t wait to see what else we’ll do this summer.
