Skipper Scoop

Skippers had a terrific Trip Week! On Monday, the Fun Bus arrived for on-campus excitement for our youngest campers. Nursery and Pre-K groups each took a turn climbing, jumping, and balancing on the Fun Bus before going down the big slide to exit the bus. On Tuesday, Pre-K boys returned to 5 Star for bouncing and balancing while Kindergarteners traveled to Once Upon a Sundae. They had a great time playing with their friends and cooling off with a yummy ice cream treat.

Today was full of surprises!  We couldn’t believe when camp turned into a giant ANIMAL SAFARI Scavenger Hunt!  We looked all over camp for funny animals to collect. But the biggest surprise came when Color War broke and BLUE KING KONG faced off against the WHITE GODZILLA Color War leaders ! WE CAN’T WAIT FOR ALL THE GREAT COLOR WAR ACTIVITIES NEXT WEEK!

Have a wonderful weekend,

Mariner Messages

Trip Week couldn’t have been more fun for the Mariners! Everyone had the chance to visit someplace exciting: 3rd and 4th graders bounced at Active Kids on Monday, 1st graders took over Cup of Fun on Tuesday, and 2nd graders played the day away at Bouncers & Slydos on Wednesday.

We also want to congratulate our 2nd, 3rd, and 4th graders on their performances this week! They have been preparing all summer long to get ready for their shows, and we are so proud of them. THANK YOU to all the Mariner counselors and to the talented staff of To The Stage for their hard work and dedication to our campers! Thank You also to all our parents and families who came out this week to support your campers – they are so lucky to have you.

Mariners were really anticipating today’s SAFARI DAY! We couldn’t believe it when we arrived to find camp had become a giant ANIMAL SAFARI Scavenger Hunt! We looked all over camp for animals to collect and win a prize. But what was most exciting was the grand finale – a between the WHITE GODZILLA & the BLUE KING KONG! That’s right – Color War broke out today! Who will win Color War Summer 2018?! We know that despite there being only one winner, all our Mariners will show true sportsmanship during Color War activities next week.
Have fun and let the games begin!

Have a great weekend!
Fran & Lonny

Navigator Notes

On Monday, we rode across the river on the banana boat and played Intramurals. On Tuesday, we cooled off at Dorney Park. There were many wet and dry rides we went on. On Wednesday, we saw the movie Mission Impossible 6 at Long Beach Cinema. The movie was a really great action movie. On Thursday, we jumped around at Sky Zone. They had tons of trampolines to bounce on. And we can’t wait to see what will happen during Safari Day today!

CIT FYI

This week, the CITs enojyed making pasta at Cooked to Perfection, taking a trip to Dorney Park, and had fun at camp trying to to complete a CIT Scavenger Hunt. We had a blast dancing around to many different songs each morning at line-up and also decorated piggy banks at Arts & Crafts. We were also treated to an awesome exotic animal show on Safari Day before suddenly, COLOR WAR BROKE! We are so excited to see what happens on Monday!
