Monday brought perfect weather for Navigator Intramural Semifinals! Campers faced off during fierce European Handball and softball games to determine Wednesday’s Championship game. Mariners also received their Intramural Champion t-shirts on Monday. Thanks to all our campers for demonstrating good sportsmanship & 100% effort. We are so proud of you! Also on Monday, fourth graders cooled off at the movies, & CITs enjoyed an amazing backstage tour of Madison Square Garden. On Tuesday, 7th & 8th graders sailed the high seas on a fishing adventure while 5th & 6th graders took over Adventureland for a fun day of rides & games. 1st grade boys bounced at 5 Star Gymnastics, too. On Wednesday, our oldest Skippers celebrated Kindergarten Graduation – they return next summer as 1st graders in the Mariner Division! 1st graders were treated to a special party with Mariner Supervisor Fran, & 7th & 8th graders visited Endless Summer one last time. Navigator Intramural Champions were crowned on Wednesday, too. Congrats to undefeated champions Team #2!
Today, we signed each other’s shirts & visited our Wishing Well. Each group dropped in a star & made a wish for the coming year. We also said “thank you” to our long-time campers: 5-year campers & staff received a sweatshirt and 10-year campers & staff received a personalized Rolling River jacket.
Each summer is better than the last, & we can’t wait to see what Summer 2020 has in store! Make sure to visit throughout the year during activities like our Annual Fall Festival, Great Date Night, Holiday Camps, birthday parties, & school events. We hope all of our campers and families have a great school year. While you’re all filling your minds with tons of knew knowledge, we will be planning another spectacular summer here at the RIVA!!
