Campers enjoyed many exciting adventures at the RIVA this week! The CITs hit the links and aimed for a hole-in-one on Monday at Topgolf. On Tuesday, Navigators took over Skyzone for a day of bouncing around on trampolines while 3rd and 4th graders enjoyed the rides and games at Adventureland. On Wednesday, we smiled for the camera for Picture Day 2 and then 7th and 8th grade girls balanced at gymnastics while 7th & 8th grade boys showed off their fancy footwork on wheels at United Skates. On Thursday, our oldest campers hit the road for several fun trips. 6th, 7th, and 8th graders got the perfect sunny day to see the sights of NYC on a double decker bus, and CITs became VIPs when they were given a backstage tour of MSG. Finally, it was the 5th graders’ turn to skate with their friends at United Skates. Back at camp, we beat the heat in the pool and on the Slip n Slides. Today, we arrived at the RIVA dressed as our favorite Nickelodeon characters and were treated to a day of scavenger hunts, Double Dare challenges and the BEST foam party! We return on Monday ready to give back to the community with our annual Coin Harvest. This year we are raising money for “Education through Music.” Send in your coins all week long! Which division will raise THE MOST money and help bring positive “change” for other children?!
