On Monday, we reunited for a great day of crafts, sports, & swimming as 3rd and 4th graders ventured to SkyZone to bounce around on their first big trip of the summer. On Monday night, 2nd graders & B10, B11, G10, & G11 shared their love of camp with their families as we kicked off Visiting Nights. We love highlighting our skills and introducing new friends! On Tuesday, Navigators and CITs traveled to Mountain Creek in New Jersey, where they had a blast on the water rides. Mountain Creek is always a camp favorite! We cooled off at camp on Tuesday on the Slip n Slides and in the pool, too! On Wednesday night, it was the 1st and 3rd graders’ turn to welcome families for Visiting Night. Campers swam in the pool and participated in two activities before cooling off with an ice cream treat. On Thursday, 5th Graders balanced and bounced at Gymnastics, while 6th, 7th, and 8th Graders took over Madame Tussaud’s in NYC to visit wax lookalikes of their favorite celebrities before enjoying a pizza lunch. We greeted our friends with an “Ahoy, matey!” this morning when camp was taken over by Captain Hook, Jack Sparrow, Jake & the Neverland Pirates, mermaids and more! We searched for buried treasure, learned how to become pirates, and walked the plank! Next Wednesday, we say “sea” you soon to our Half Season 1 campers before welcoming Half Season 2 friends on Thursday morning. Anchors Aweigh!
