Every December, Rolling River Day Camp brings our community together for a meaningful winter tradition that celebrates connection and giving back. This year’s Winter Reunion will be held on Sunday, December 14, at the Freeport Recreation Center Ice Rink, where enrolled 2026 campers and their families are invited to gather from 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. for a festive afternoon together.
As part of this year’s event, Rolling River is proud to host a Holiday Food Drive supporting local community food pantries. Many families across Long Island face increased need during the winter season, and our camp community can make a real difference. We encourage families to bring non-perishable, unopened food items such as canned goods, pasta, rice, cereals, and shelf-stable essentials. Every donation helps support our neighbors and ensures local pantries are prepared for the months ahead.
The Winter Reunion is a chance for campers to reconnect, share the holiday spirit, and contribute to an important cause. We look forward to welcoming our families on December 14 for an afternoon of community, generosity, and Rolling River cheer.
