 Skipper Scoop

We are so proud of our Skippers and all of their accomplishments!  From making new friends to trying new activities, Skippers could always be seen climbing, singing, playing, learning, and having fun all around camp. Congratulations to our Kindergarteners, who have graduated to the Mariner Division when they return as 1st Graders next summer. An enormous Thank You to all our Skipper counselors for working so hard this summer to give our youngest campers an amazing experience!

We wish you all a fantastic school year, and we can’t wait to see your smiling faces when we return to the RIVA next summer!

Skipper Supervisor

Mariner Messages

I am so incredibly proud of all the Mariners for showing the true spirit of Rolling River this summer! Trying new activities, making new friends, working together both as groups and Intramural teams, the Mariner campers are role models for our younger campers and always put 100% into each day. We had such a great time all around camp and also on all our off-campus adventures such as the overnight to Camp Brookwood. Congratulations to the 4th graders, who return next summer as Navigators!

Thank you so  much to our hard-working counselors and of course to you, our parents. Our campers leave today with memories of an amazing summer and wonderful friendships, and we can’t wait to return next summer to do it all over again. Have a fantastic school year, and I look forward to greeting you all on the first day of the 2017 Summer season!

Mariner Supervisor

Navigator Notes

What an incredible summer it has been for the Navigators! From exciting trips to Aviator Sports, Long Beach, Dorney Park and Broadway to our  awesome overnight adventure to Lake George and intense Intramural competitions, the Navigators have become true leaders on and off-campus. A huge Thank You to all the Navigator counselors for providing support and giving our oldest campers a great summer! We are already looking forward to the Fall Festival, November’s Flag Football clinic, and the Navigator Reunion on January 21st. Next summer can’t come soon enough!

“Sea” ya next year at the RIVA!

Navigator Supervisor

CIT FYI

This summer we had a stellar group of CITs!  We had an amazing time on trips like visiting Strikeforce Sports and the Empire State Building, spending time at Camp Anchor for our community service trip, and special CIT events like our after camp pool parties. Our awesome CITs also had major responsibilities such as taking care of their campers and learning how to be counselors.  We are so proud of all of them and can’t wait to see them continue to grow and become part of the Rolling River staff!

Have a great winter & we’ll “sea” you next summer! ~Melanie & Matt, CIT Supervisors

Big Fish

Special congratulations go out to Mariner Division Assistant Supervisor and Group Counselor Lonny Dugger, this week’s Big Fish! Lonny works so hard to provide our campers with an amazing summer. Thank you, Lonny!
