About Rolling River

It is with great pleasure that we acquaint you with Rolling River Day Camp! We work with extensive energy and passion to provide children with tangible life experiences in our second-generation, family-owned and operated summer camp and recreation center. At Rolling River, we strongly believe you can trace life-changing moments back to summer camp. Directors Rhonda and Mark met as camp counselors in 1975 and their love for camp encouraged them to establish Rolling River in 1992. Thousands of campers later, Rhonda and Mark have passed their passion for camp on to their 3 children, Marissa, Alison and Jonathan, who now also work as Directors on the year-round Leadership Team.  Through innovative programming and superior customer service, the Goodman family and extended Rolling River Crew proves why our summer program serves as a staple in the local community.

Rolling River affects the lives of many by providing children and staff with pivotal moments that change the course of their life. For example, the instant you realize you CAN swim, play ball, or sing: moments that lead you to pursue a new interest or even point you towards a career. The introduction to your future lifelong friend or the connection that blossoms into marriage. Learning to communicate, lead, or mentor.  These moments in camp often serve as the springboard for each person’s unique journey.  Therefore, our mission at Rolling River is for each camper to Embark on Life’s Voyage.

We welcome you with open arms and look forward to creating a lifetime of memories with your family. Thank you for taking time to explore our summer home and see why Rolling River Day Camp was selected as the “World’s Greatest” in summer camping.

Anchors Aweigh,

Owners and Directors- Rhonda and Mark Goodman; Marissa, Jonah, Zoe & Caleb Allaben; Alison, Matt, Cole and Blake Rothenberg; Lisa, Jonathan, Rylan and Leni Goodman
