Dear families,
With our first ever SportsMania event closing out Half Season 1 on Friday, we are excited to announce a special surprise visit from a professional NFL player this week! To kick off SportsMania, Rolling River is excited to welcome New York Giants offensive lineman Kevin Boothe to camp on Wednesday! Kevin will be running football drills for our older Mariner campers and will also host group meet and greets with all other campers. Feel free to have your child wear their NY Giants gear on Wednesday to welcome Kevin to camp!
Please note that Kevin was originally planned as a surprise guest for Friday’s event but had to rearrange his schedule last minute due to the start of Giants training camp. Note that all campers and CITs will receive a custom autograph sheet from Kevin whether or not they are in camp on Wednesday.
Also know that Kevin is donating his time to Rolling River to create a special experience for the many families who were affected this year by Hurricane Sandy. As a thank you, Rolling River will be donating a 2014 Campmates Scholarship to Peninsula Counseling Center in his honor.
We are looking forward to a fantastic day and can’t wait to welcome Kevin to the RIVA!
