This week the RIVA was transformed into a galaxy far, far away! Our young Lukes & Leias crafted adorable baby Yodas in Arts & Crafts, swam with spacecraft kickboards in swimming, and encountered exotic animals from distant worlds at Nature. Our Jedi adventures began on Monday with Family and Sibling Photo Day. After our young Padawans had their photo opp, our 3rd and 4th grade Mariners honed their skills at Gymnastics/Spin DJ and tested their prowess at Bowling. On Tuesday, many of our Navigators and CITs embarked on an Overnight trip to Six Flags America, Baltimore, and Hurricane Harbor, while others sought thrills at Adventureland! Wednesday saw some of our Navigators mastering the art of skating at United Skates, and on Thursday, they had fun playing at Mini- Golf, Go-Karts and at the Arcades at Tiki Action Park. Back at camp, Jedis stayed cool by swimming in the pools, on the slip and slides and running through the sprinklers. The excitement peaked on Friday with Jedi Training for Lower Camp, where they campers met heroes like Hans Solo, Princess Leia and Chewbacca. Meanwhile, Upper Camp engaged in thrilling laser tag battles with battle blasters and marveled at an Illusionist show featuring Jedi Mind Tricks. Join us next week for an enchanting adventure as we get ready for Fairytale Friday! May the force be with you!
