What a fun, packed week at the RIVA celebrating a riveting Spirit Week! On Monday, we were a sea of yellow for Minion Monday. We spent the day enjoying crafts, sports, swimming & our slip and slide! Our third and fourth graders ventured off-campus to gymnastics and bowling on their first big trips of the season. On Tuesday, Navigators and CITs traveled to Brownstone Park, where they had a blast on the water rides. At camp, it was Animal Day and our Skippers each adopted a faux pet and played with some puppies who came for a visit and kisses. The Mariners skated around the hockey rink for some roller-skating! On Wednesday, it was crazy hair day! We showed off our most creative hair-dos. The 5th and 6th grade girls balanced and bounced at Five Star Gymnastics. The 5th and 6th grade boys went bowling, while the 7/8th graders visited QZAR and engaged in laser tag and video games. Thursday was Toon Thursday and we dressed as our favorite cartoon characters! Friday was filled with songs and cheers for Song and Plaque Day! We showed off our creativity and our singing skills as we cheered for our group and showed off our RIVA spirit! Next week kicks off our Visiting Nights for the Mariner Division- we can’t wait to show off what we have learned so far at camp!
